The officers enjoy working at the fair, which gives them an opportunity to interact with the public and provide crime prevention suggestions to children. The officers were involved with the free daily raffle of bicycles for children. In the attached photos, Detective Doug Hubbard and Officers Joel Field and Roger Sir presented two lucky winners with their bikes.
The officers gave away hundreds of UW-Eau Claire Police, Junior Officer badges, coloring books, state maps and traffic safety materials. The officers also assisted in re-uniting lost children with their parents.
