Each 1-hour show presents an entertaining and educational topic, and includes information about the current night sky

For adults and youth:  Tuesdays at 7pm.

Tuesday shows are not meant for children under age 10.

 

Children's shows:  Saturdays 11am.

Generally aimed at children ages 5-12.

Location

 

Located on the UW-Eau Claire campus, at the North end of Phillips Science Hall, just inside the doors. It's inside the bird museum!

Map   Look for free parking on Saturdays and after 6pm.

Hearing assist devices are available: ask for a receiver

Groups

Provide a special experience for your class or community group, for $30 (up to 50 people), $35 in summer. Private groups: $50.

Free telescope observing!

 

 

Hobbs Observatory, at Beaver Creek Reserve, offers public access after dark (if its not cloudy) the third Saturday of the month AND every clear Saturday from May to October. 

Free Astronomy lectures at Hobbs Observatory, 8pm on the third Saturday (telescope viewing afterwards, ~9pm)
