Hobbs Observatory
Hobbs Observatory is located 15 miles east of the campus
in the Beaver Creek Reserve. It contains a 24-inch computer controlled
telescope, a 14-inch Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, a state-of-the-art
CCD camera, and a classroom. The observatory is open to the public
on the third Saturday of every month and on all clear
Saturday nights from May through October.
