  • ENPH Graduate students have created an outline of how to write an effective research paper.
  • Testing for Antibiotic Resistance: In a collaboration between ENPH and Biology, faculty members Crispin Pierce, Jim Dunning and Sasha Showsh are joined by alumnus Eli Gottfried and students Michael Checkai and Tola Ekunsanmi to see if land spreading of septic tank effluent is associated with an increase in antibiotic resistant bacteria.
  • Surveying Heavy Metals in Childrens' Hair: Working with the Materials Science Center director Jill Ferguson and ENPH faculty member Crispin Pierce, students Katya Alcaraz, Taylor Hunding and Patty Krug are testing kids' hair. This research group in interested in factors that may lead to overexposure of children to arsenic, mercury, chromium and lead.
