Brief Bios


Crispin Pierce


Dr. Crispin Pierce serves as the Program Director for the ENPH Undergraduate and Graduate Programs. His interests in toxicology and toxicokinetics---the absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of toxicants---have led to numerous peer-reviewed publications, many with students as co-authors. Dr. Pierce’s extensive community outreach activities include presentations on overpopulation, global climate change, native plant alternatives to lawns, and sustainable energy policies. The learning, growth, and success of ENPH students are his prime objectives.

Christine Gabel


Christine L. Gabel is a Veterinarian with a strong educational background in Environmental and Occupational Health. She brings with her to the Environmental and Public Health department a vast range of experiences both from the veterinary and Environmental and Occupational Health field, which is coupled with several publications, researches and activities with organizations affiliated to the profession.
