"The Activities, Involvement and Leadership office is sponsoring a new event called the Training Greatness and Influence Fair or TGIF. This free, one day event offers sessions on various topics to help prepare students for the professional environment while impacting their personal growth. I am emailing you about this due to your connection with the College of Nursing and Health Sciences and with the hopes that you would help promote this opportunity to those students.

The sessions will cover the topics of social media and technology, professional ethics, personal finance, professional etiquette, team development, and marketing collegiate involvement. Presentations will be put on by various campus departments, student organizations, and staff members. All sessions will be offered at different times throughout the day, so that students can attend one session, three, or all six. It is a causal conference that is flexible around individual schedules.

TGIF will be held on Friday, March 2nd in Davies Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will have free food, prize drawings, and more. Interested students should register online through OrgSync at https://orgsync.com/40132/forms/show/44872 or through the Activities, Involvement, and Leadership’s website since each session has limited space available. It is because of this that all students must register to participate. Registration is open through Friday, February 24th.

If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to contact me and I hope you consider promoting this opportunity to others!

Thank you!
