"Dear Colleague,

We recently sent you a mailing with a poster and five postcards highlighting study abroad opportunities in sustainability and environmental studies with CIEE. We are very excited about these programs and want to make sure you have as much information as possible to best advise your students interested in studying abroad in a global environment.

By studying abroad with CIEE, students can continue study in their major while living and learning in a global environment. Through cultural excursions, course opportunities in conservation biology, public policy, and life sciences, students make the most of their experience both in and out of the classroom. Here are some highlights from the sustainability programs offered by CIEE:

Monteverde, Costa Rica—Sustainability and the Environment
CIEE Study Center in Monteverde, Costa Rica

Significant research opportunities in agricultural development, eco-tourism, and grassroots conservation efforts in developing countries
Host family stays provide immersion in the culture and Spanish language

Perth, Australia—Sustainability and the Environment
CIEE Study Center at Murdoch University

Innovative academic offerings in the areas of sustainability, environmental science, and life sciences
Sustainable Development Internship provides an invaluable opportunity to acquire workplace skills, knowledge, and contacts pertaining to sustainability

We hope that this information will assist you in advising students interested in studying sustainability, development, and environmental issues abroad with CIEE. For more detailed information on these programs, as well as others, please visit our website at www.ciee.org/study-abroad/sustainablity.

You can also receive more information by speaking with the CIEE Institutional Representative for your area. Click here to contact the representative for your institution.
