I'm pleased to announce that applications are currently being accepted for Wisconsin Express 2012, a week-long cultural immersion experience for students to explore health and culture within a particular Wisconsin community from May 20-25, 2012.
Program notes: -- We are seeking applications from students representing a wide array of academic disciplines, who are preparing to work in health professions. A special highlight of the program is the interprofessional composition of the group at each site. -- There is a competitive application process for the limited number of spaces. Last year we received a record number of applications. The quality of the student's essay is an important factor in the selection process. -- Wisconsin AHEC will again cover the majority of costs for students to participate in this 5-day residential program. Participants pay a $100 fee and the cost of some meals.
Please share this announcement widely and encourage students to apply for this provocative learning experience.
Thanks for your help! --Keri Robbins, Wisconsin Express Coordinator
