We need you for the UW-Eau Claire Homecoming Parade on Saturday Oct. 6, 9-10:30 AM. This is a fun event with about 1,000 students and families lining 1st Avenue to celebrate the start of a new school year. SNEHA/ENPH Students have participated each year of the last seven, often winning first or second place awards.
You can ride in the bicycle surrey, perform a dance routine in HAZMAT suits, carry SNEHA or ENPH signs, roll synchronized recycling bins, or control the mechanical rat – everybody is needed. We’re planning to use “Toxic” by Brittney Spears for the routine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCRT8IItGpw).
As of now, Casey, Matthew (maybe), Nate, Rachael, Andrea (maybe), Ryan (maybe), Sam, Katherine, Kim (maybe), John (maybe), Zjen, James, Krista, Lydia, Elisa, Kayla, Marcus and Dr. Gabel are participating. Join these great students and have fun promoting SNEHA and the ENPH major to our campus community.
We ‘ll be holding practices Monday-Friday of next week Oct. 3-7, from noon-1 PM in the Nursing building north parking lot (nearest the river).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
