Here is a list of excellent online environmental health sciences educational tools:

1. A disease outbreak simulation (kind of like CSI on TV) that illustrates the kind of work that our graduates do (takes about 45 minutes to complete): http://www.mclph.umn.edu/watersedge/

2. A description of Careers in Environmental Health Science (Eastern Kentucky University Media Resources): Click http://toxtown.nlm.nih.gov/text_version/resources/EnvSci_Video_hi.wmv to play video using Windows Media (High Quality)

3. Free online modules (~15-45 minute segments) from the National Environmental Health Association: http://nehacert.org/moodle/

4. Environmental science video clips from the UWEC Macintyre Library’s Films on Demand database: http://digital.films.com/PortalSearch.aspx?q=environmental+science&rd=lo (note that each of the 9 links has multiple small video clips) This link works well from on-campus; from off campus, go to the library site (http://www.uwec.edu/Library/index.htm) then find Films on Demand, and search for "Environmental Science."

5. A set of online environmental health training modules by Tulane/UAB: http://lms01.southcentralpartnership.org/scphp/
