Tips/Advice
- Vehicles must always head into stalls when parking.
- Parking is allowed only in areas designated as parking areas, and all posted restriction must be followed.
- All parking areas are designated by signs at the entrance to all lots.
- Vehicles cannot park in non-designated areas without permission from Parking and Transportation Services.
- Tickets must be paid within 10 days.
- Red ticket collection boxes are located in the Schneider and Davies lots, and Hilltop Circle across from Crest Wellness Center on upper campus.
Note: Unpaid or late payment of parking citations will result in additional
fines and may cause the suspension of your motor vehicle license through the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation. Out-of-state vehicles receiving parking
tickets may have the ticket sent to collections. A hold will be placed on the
student registration or records until all ticket amounts and penalties have been paid.
Examples of frequent parking infractions:
- Parking without the required permit.
- Parking backward in a stall or pulling through a stall in another.
- Parking in a 15-minute zone without lights or flashers on.
- Parking in excess of 15-minutes in a flasher zone.
- Parking in a handicap space or handicap ramp access space.
- Meter overtime (most meters are two hours at 50 cents an hour).
- Improper display of permit.
