No permits are required in the metered areas. Upper Campus and Garfield Avenue meters are enforced 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., seven days a week. Lower Campus meters are enforced from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday - Friday. Meters are $0.50 per hour and $0.25 for 20 minute meters and are enforced year round, excluding legal holidays. Use the meter on the driver's side. Up to four tickets can be issued (one per hour) per day.
Loading zone and short-term handicapped permits are available in Parking & Transportation Services, Schneider 106. Fifteen minute zones are available throughout the campus - lights and flashers are required in order to park in these zones. All restricted parking is well marked. Restricted parking is enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
NOTE: Prospective students and their families wishing to schedule a campus visit should first contact the Admissions Office at (715) 836-5415. The Admission Office will reserve space in the Visitor's Center.
Visitors planning to park on campus weekdays between 7:15 a.m. & 3:00 p.m. must secure a free visitor permit from the Visitor Center (corner of Roosevelt & Park). Please have the following information with you: Valid I.D. and license plate number. Reserved visitor parking available at the Visitor Center is based on 24-hour advance notice.
