Planed Activism Efforts
World AIDs Day, Dec. 1st
World AIDS Day is celebrated each year all around the world. It has become one of the most recognized international health days and a key opportunity to raise awareness, commemorate those who have passed on, and celebrate victories such as increased access to treatment and prevention services.
We will working on a part of the World AIDs memorial quit from 10am through 3pm in the Davis Center in collaberation with Forward Momentum, and we will also be presenting a few pannels already made.

Breaking the Silence
National Day of Silence (April 10, 2012) Hundreds of thousands of students nationwide take a vow of silence to bring attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying and harassment in their schools.
We will be joining other on campus organizations in the Breaking the Silence Concert, which will be held on the campus mall.
Eau Queer Film Festival
The festival is the culmination of a pilot travel seminar coordinated through the Women's Studies program focusing on LGBTQA cultures and experiences.
We will be having a table with information.
National Coming Out Day
National Coming Out Day (NCOD) is an internationally observed civil awareness day for coming out stories and discussion about LGBTQA members and their allies. It is observed every year.
We will be participating in events taking place on the campus mall that day.
Safe Space with Bass
Safe Space with Bass is a yearly event held at the beginning of the academic year. Safe Space, in association with the Women's and LGBTQ Resource Center, Forward Momentum, and us, OutLoud.
