All human subject researchers regardless of funding source are encouraged to complete human subject educational programs. University of Wisconsin-Madison offers the following online tutorial. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) require all key personnel conducting human subject research with NIH funds to complete an educational program regarding the responsible conduct of human subjects research. Certification of completion of the educational program must be accomplished before an NIH award can be accepted by UW-Eau Claire.
In addition, all UW-Eau Claire instructors requiring students to perform human subject related research as part of normal course activities must complete the human subject online tutorial at http://info.gradsch.wisc.edu/research/compliance/humansubjects/
tutorial/index.htm and inform their students about all human subject research regulations of UW-Eau Claire.
