Online courses may be taken by admitted UW-Eau Claire students who have taken and/or are taking other UW-Eau Claire classes. These students may register on MyBlugold.
Students who have not been admitted are called "special" students. Although these students may also use the Blugold System, many of them will not have received their PIN and/or instructions for doing this. The simplest way for a special student to register is to print out and complete the Special Student Application/Course Selection Form/Payment Plan Agreement forms and mail it to UW-Eau Claire Registration Services along with a $100 down payment. In about one week or less students should receive by mail a confirmation schedule and billing for the remainder of the tuition and fees. If preferred, the $100 down payment or entire tuition and fees can be paid by electronic bank draft online.
Fees
Since fees may differ from term to term, go to the Student Fee Information site and choose the appropriate term to find out what your fees will be (online courses have an additional "special course fee" of $10 per credit hour) and the payment due dates for these can be found on the same page.
Dropping a Course
Please see Special Students Dropping Courses section on the Add/Drop page of the Registrar's site. All students enrolled in an online course must abide by the drop and withdraw deadlines for the term whether or not they have logged on to the course.

PIN - Personal Identification Number
Every student who is enrolled in a credit course is assigned a PIN. Special student PINs will be mailed to you when your registration is processed. If you do not receive one prior to the start of your classes, contact Registration Services at: 715-836-2425, registration@uwec.edu
