Harder, Sarah Women's Studies

The Sarah Harder Women’s Studies Development Fund was established as a tribute to Sarah Harder’s leadership on issues involving women at UW-Eau Claire, in the United States and internationally. Its purpose is to inspire contributions to support the activities and continued development of the women’s studies program. Funds will be used with the approval of the women’s studies program committee, to fund various needs as they arise, including student aid, projects and travel, curriculum development initiatives and guest speakers/performers relevant to women’s concerns that are not fully funded through regular university channels.

When a student has been selected to receive a grant or scholarship from the fund, the women’s studies coordinator will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office in order for the student to be paid.

Recipients are encouraged to send a thank-you note to Sarah Harder in care of the women’s studies office at UW- Eau Claire.
