AVAILABLE: Annually
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
This scholarship is open to undergraduate full or part- time students enrolled in good standing at the UW-Eau Claire who have completed 88 credits or more. Students should have a cumulative resident GPA of 3.0 or higher. By application, the recipient must demonstrate evidence of a commitment to promoting equal opportunity for women in all situations within the University; or to enhancing the position of women at the University; or to collaborating with local, state or national women’s organizations to assist in improving the status of women in the general social structure. A preference will be shown toward applicants who have financial need as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Application forms are available from the Office of Women’s Studies.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The recipient will be chosen on the criteria above by a Women’s Studies faculty/staff committee.
SELECTION DEADLINE:
Prior to the annual Women’s Studies award ceremony, normally held in March.
NOTIFICATION:
The recipient will be sent an award letter by the Women’s Studies Office. The Director of Women’s Studies will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office. The recipient will receive the scholarship award at the beginning of the fall semester.
