Foundation Scholarships

Preference shall be given, but need not be limited to, a student from the (former) Taylor School District part of Jackson County. A second preference shall be for a student from Jackson County and a third preference shall be for a student who is a resident of Wisconsin. Additionally, preference shall be given, but is not limited to, a student majoring in education and who has financial need.

There is no application procedure. Patricia Montayne from the Financial Aid Office will run a list of students with financial need from the Taylor School District, Jackson County or the State of Wisconsin. Students from those areas will be considered for the award, based upon the first, second and third choice criteria in that order.

The Financial Aid Office shall screen students and select the recipient based upon the above criteria.

The Financial Aid Office shall send an award letter to the scholarship recipient. A copy will be sent to the Foundation office.

The recipient should send a thank-you letter to Elden M. Amundson in care of the UW-EC Foundation.
