University Women's Association Emergency

Income from the fund will be used to provide emergency grant funds to deserving students so identified by the UW- EC Financial Aid Office. Preference will be given to nontraditional UW-Eau Claire women students in emergency situations. Those situations may typically include medical emergencies, transportation emergencies or any severe financial incident that might cause the student to withdraw from classes.

Students need to meet with a Financial Aid Counselor to seek assistance.

The Financial Aid Office Counselor will contact the Foundation Office to arrange for the award. The Foundation will notify the University Women’s Association about all grants awarded.

When a grant has been given, the recipient is encouraged to send a thank-you note to the University Women’s Association in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.
