Foundation Scholarships

UWEC Foundation Music

Must be accepted into a Music major program in the Department of Music and Theatre Arts at UW-Eau Claire.

Freshmen and transfers--indicate scholarship interest on audition application when applying for audition for acceptance into a music program. Continuing students-- indicate interest in scholarship to applied faculty prior to semester final jury examination.

The deadline for freshmen and transfer students corresponds to their audition dates. For continuing students, the deadline is prior to final jury examinations.

During the audition or jury examinations, faculty members who are specialists in the applicant’s performance area will evaluate the performer’s ability and potential. Recipients will be selected and notified accordingly.

If selected to receive this scholarship, official notification will be sent by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts Chair. The Department Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office for each recipient.
