Foundation Scholarships

UWEC Freshman Honor

Candidates must rank in the top 6% of their graduating class and have a minimum of a 28 composite on the ACT (or comparable SAT). Or, if they are from an unranked class, students must present a 3.85 GPA and have a minimum of a 28 on the ACT (or comparable SAT).

There is no formal application.

The Admissions Office will coordinate the selection of recipients.

The Office of Admissions will notify scholarship recipients (and their high school counselors once the award is accepted).

Students receiving the Rath, National Merit, Mark of Excellence, Chancellor’s or Blugold Fellowship scholarships will not receive this award.
