AMOUNT:
Two @ $1,000: one for new freshman and one for continuing student
AVAILABLE: Annually
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Awards will be made to graduating senior from Frederic High School who will be attending UW-Eau Claire. The scholarship may be renewable, depending on funding and as long as the recipient meets the scholarship criteria and continues to be enrolled at UW-Eau Claire and reapplies for the scholarship by April 1st.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Contact Guidance Counselor Julie Bever at Frederic High School (715-327-4223) for further information. Patricia Montayne in the UW-Eau Claire Financial Aid office reviews if an award will be made to a continuing student.
APPLICATION DATE:
Designated by Frederic High School & Financial Aid.
SELECTION PROCEDURE: Based on criteria above
SELECTION DEADLINE: Before the conclusion spring
semester
NOTIFICATION:
The Frederic High School Guidance Counselor will send the recipient a notification letter prior to June 15. A copy of the award letter should be sent to the UW-Eau Claire Foundation and Financial Aid Office. Patricia Montayne will notify the student if the award is renewed.
SPECIAL NOTES:
A thank-you note should be sent to Jim and Sara Mellinger in care of the UW-EC Foundation.
