Recipient must be a single parent student attempting to obtain a degree at UW-Eau Claire who needs financial assistance and has potential for success in academics and career. Student must have a FAFSA on file in the Financial Aid Office.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Application forms are available online at www.uwec.edu/NSS/scholarships/index.htm or from Nontraditional Student Services (NSS), Schofield 226, 715- 836-3259.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Third Monday in April

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The NSS adviser in consultation with the Financial Aid Office will select recipients.

SELECTION DEADLINE: Mid June

NOTIFICATION:

The recipient of the scholarship will receive a letter from the Nontraditional Student Services Adviser. NSS will complete and send a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

SPECIAL NOTES:

The recipient is encouraged to send a thank-you note to Terry McEnany in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office, S- 214.
