Foundation Scholarships

Schinagl, Ludwig & Mary S.

Eligible students must be strongly motivated for the study of German, as demonstrated by class performance and, if applicable, by participation in extracurricular activities linked to the German program. The recipient must have applied to study abroad in a German speaking country and have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.

File application for a study abroad program with the Center for International Studies, S-111 and complete and submit a scholarship application form with any German faculty member of the UW-Eau Claire Department of Foreign Languages.

The German faculty members will select the recipient based upon the above criteria.

The Department Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

The recipient is required to send a thank-you note to Mary Schinagl in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office in S-214.
