Foundation Scholarships

Sack, Herbert & Eleanor Memorial

The Herbert and Eleanor Sack Scholarship will be awarded to a worthy, incoming freshman who applies and is selected for the coming academic year and who has declared a major in History. Priority will be given to those students who rank high in their graduating class and have demonstrated scholastic ability through high ACT or SAT scores. If no appropriate freshman student is identified, the award may be offered to a continuing history major.

Recipients will be announced to the local high school guidance counselor and/or principal (or directly to the winner) in early May. The History Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office at UW-Eau Claire.
