This grant fund will provide funding, subject to adjustments based on available resources, to students who have emergency financial need. This is not intended to provide long-range financial aid, but rather funds to meet critical personal needs.

Students may be referred to the Financial Aid Office by Student Affairs, Adult Opportunity, the Center for Academic, Personal and Career Development and other faculty and staff.

The financial aid officer in charge of this grant will assess the need and resources available to determine whether assistance can be given.

Students receiving an emergency grant will receive a check as soon as possible, usually within a few minutes.

The Financial Aid Office will keep the initiators of this fund, David and Audrey Sanford, informed of the progress of the fund and the grant circumstances.
