AMOUNT: Variable, maximum total awards of $15,000. AVAILABLE: Fall and Spring Semesters ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Applicants must be nontraditional students, age 23 or above, returning to school after an interruption in their education who are independent of parental support. Financial need required. Students enrolling as “specials” are eligible to apply.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Application forms are available online at www.uwec.edu/NSS/scholarships/index.htm or from Nontraditional Student Services (NSS), Schofield 226, 715- 836-3259.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Two weeks after fall and spring semesters begin (no award in summer or winterim).SELECTION PROCEDURE: Determined by the NSS adviser SELECTION DEADLINE: Approximately three weeks after fall and spring semesters begin (there are no awards for summer or winterim). Please check the website for exact dates each semester.NOTIFICATION: The NSS adviser will send notification to the recipient and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES: |
