Foundation Scholarships

Lewis, Rhodes & Roberta Music

This scholarship will always provide two awards. One award will be made to a full time Music Education major, who has completed at least 90 semester hours at time of application and who has at least one year of undergraduate studies remaining, plus: has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on all work taken at UW-Eau Claire and has an active membership in MENC. The second award will be made to a full time Music Performance major (this may include theory and composition majors) who has completed at least 90 semester hours at time of application and who has at least one year of undergraduate studies remaining, plus: has achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better on all work taken at UW-Eau Claire and participates in a music student organization such as ACDA, IJEA or ASTA.

Application forms will be available in the Department of Music and Theatre Arts Office. Completed forms should be submitted to the Department.

Determined by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts

The Music faculty will review applications, which have been confirmed by the Division Coordinators. The Music Division Coordinators will notify those eligible. The final recommendations will be forwarded to the Chair of the Department.

The Chair of the Department of Music and Theatre Arts will notify the recipients by letter and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

It is suggested that the recipients send an acknowledgement of the scholarship to the family of Rhodes and Roberta Lewis in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office.
