AMOUNT: $500.00 AVAILABLE: ANNUALLY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: In order to be considered for this award, applicants must be fulltime music major with voice as the major instrument at the time the scholarship is received. Applicants also must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all course work, 2.75 in music courses, and register for a major choral ensemble and for applied voice.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Students will submit a brief statement regarding their goals and their financial need. Application forms are available in the Department of Music and Theatre Arts Office.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Determined by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts.SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Scholarship Committee of the Department of Music and Theatre Arts shall make the selection from the students who apply.SELECTION DEADLINE: Spring semester NOTIFICATION: The recipient will receive written notification from the Department of Music and Theatre Arts. A copy of the memo should be sent to the Financial Aid and UW-EC Foundation Offices to inform them of the recipients selected.SPECIAL NOTES: A thank you letter should be sent to Dr. Kathryn Proctor Duax in care of the Foundation. |
