Foundation Scholarships

Gannon, Richard T.

Available to College of Business students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher with a preference for finance or business major with economics emphasis who demonstrate and show potential for leadership. May be presented to a first year student and may be renewable for up to 4 years. (One $500 award is available per year, so if the scholarship is renewed for a recipient, no additional scholarships will be selected. Once the planned gift is realized and the account becomes fully endowed, each award should be a minimum of $1,000 with the number of student awards to be determined by the annual income of the endowed fund.) The recipient must show financial need as established by the Financial Aid Office.

Application forms are available in the College of Business Dean's Office or from the Office of Admissions for first- year students.

The College of Business will send a letter to the recipient. The Dean will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

Recipients should send a thank-you note to Richard Gannon in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office.
