SPECIAL NOTES:
Al Peterson was the son of Scandinavian immigrants. He could not afford to attend college, his lifelong regret. At mid-life, he was the victim of an industrial accident, which poisoned him, and several of his fellow workers. Most of the victims died within one year. Despite much pain and sickness, he was determined to survive, and he did. He was not able to return to work, but he improved enough to bring his wit and positive nature to friends and relatives for nearly 30 more years. He was not bitter nor did he lay his misfortune on others. He enjoyed much of life and others enjoyed him.
