AMOUNT: $1,000 AVAILABLE: Annually ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Returning female student. Needs significant financial assistance. Preference given to a single parent with custodial responsibility and dependent children. Demonstrated potential for success in academics and career. Must have a FAFSA on file in the Financial Aid Office.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Application forms are available on line at www.uwec.edu/advising/nss/scholar.htm or in the Nontraditional Student Services Office (NSS).APPLICATION DEADLINE: December 1 SELECTION PROCEDURE: The NSS adviser in consultation with the Financial Aid Office.SELECTION DEADLINE: Mid January NOTIFICATION: The Nontraditional Student Services adviser shall notify the recipient. The adviser will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES: A letter of appreciation should be sent to Dick and Marlene Cable in care of the Foundation Office. |
