Oyen, Lynne Economics

Economics major or minor who has completed 9 credits of economics. Junior or senior status. Full-time student standing (12+ credits). Overall GPA of 3.0 and 3.0 GPA in economics classes. Demonstrated financial need.

Applicants should pick up an application form in the Economics Department office. Return the completed application form, transcript and other information to the Economics Department office.

The Department of Economics Scholarship Committee will select the award recipient.

A letter will be sent to the recipient from the Chair of the Scholarship Committee. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

This scholarship was created in 1998 by Duane Oyen in memory of his wife, Lynne Oyen. A letter of appreciation should be sent to Dr. Duane B. Oyen, Department of Economics, UW-Eau Claire.
