Foundation Scholarships

Recipient should have senior status; have past participation in men's or women's athletics; the GPA requirement is the same level as eligibility for athletics; and athletic eligibility must have been completed or relinquished.

Application/nomination forms are available in the Department of Athletics Office. The form, with appropriate supporting information, should be returned to the department office by the deadline.

Two Athletics faculty members and a representative of the Olson Family (if available) will review the applications/nominations and select the recipient. If no member of the Olson Family is available, the Department Chair will appoint a member of the faculty to serve on the committee. The committee's decision will be forwarded to the Department Chair for transmittal.

Students who have been awarded this scholarship will be notified by letter by the Chair. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.

A thank-you note should be sent to the Olson family in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office.
