ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. Full-time junior or senior when utilizing the award. Declared major in criminal justice at UW-EC. Available to any student who is a non-immediate family member of a current member of the Eau Claire Police Department. (An immediate family member is a child, stepchild, or spouse of a department member.)
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Submit to the Political Science Department: an application letter indicating why you think you should receive the scholarship as well as a statement of academic and career goals, a resume, and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member who teaches courses for the criminal justice major. The faculty member should send the letter directly to the criminal justice adviser.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: Based on the criteria above
SELECTION DEADLINE: Determined by the department
NOTIFICATION:
The chair will send a letter of notification to the recipient. The department chair should send a completed Scholarship Award Form to the Financial Aid Office.

A thank-you note should be sent to Eau Claire Professional Police Benevolent Association in care of the UW-EC Foundation.
