AMOUNT: $500
AVAILABLE: Annually
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
The recipient must be a UW-Eau Claire student and have a minimum of 12 credits and be in good academic standing with a minimum of a 2.5 GPA. Preference will be given to UW-Eau Claire American Indian students.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Application forms are available in the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Two letters of recommendation should be part of the application. Please have them sent directly to the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: April 15
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
The Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Coordinator of the American Indian Academic and Student Services will choose the recipient.
SELECTION DEADLINE: Prior to May banquet
NOTIFICATION:
Odawa White, Coordinator of American Indian Studies, Office of Multicultural Affairs, will notify the recipient by letter and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office. The award will be announced at the May banquet.
SPECIAL NOTES:
American Indian alumni of UW-Eau Claire support this scholarship. It is their interest to collectively build the principal to create an endowed scholarship. The recipient should send a letter of appreciation addressed to Odawa White in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office.
