AMOUNT: Variable Awards for a total of $800AVAILABLE: AvailableELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Student must have junior standing and be a Communication Sciences and Disorders major. The student must attend full-time and have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above and major GPA of 3.5 or above. Student must have an active membership for at least one year in the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and show university or community involvement.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applicants may download the form from the UWEC CSD and NSSLHA website. Fill in completely and submit the form in a sealed and marked envelope in the NSSLHA mailbox (HSS 114).APPLICATION DATE: Third Friday in February SELECTION PROCEDURE: Selection will be made by faculty advisors of NSSLHA, NSSLHA officers who are in senior standing, and one graduate student representative with previous NSSLHA experience based on the criteria above.SELECTION DEADLINE: First Friday in March NOTIFICATION: The scholarship recipients will be announced via email. The NSSLHA Advisor will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office, so the scholarships will be paid during the fall semester.
