Open to UW-Eau Claire College of Business (COB) finance, accounting or business economics majors who are economically disadvantaged as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and/or members of any of the following American ethnic minority groups: African-American, American Indian, Southeast Asian or Hispanic American. Other criteria include: junior or senior status and admission to the COB; full-time student status (12+ credits) for the entire academic year covered by the scholarship; good academic standing; GPA of at least 3.0; preference given to students who graduated from high schools in Chippewa, Dunn and Eau Claire counties.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE: COB coordinates applications.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: As determined by the College of

Business.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: COB determines selection.

SELECTION DEADLINE:

Spring semester. Contact the College of Business for more information.

NOTIFICATION:

The Dean will send a letter to the recipient and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.

SPECIAL NOTES:

A thank-you letter should be addressed to Wells Fargo Bank in care of Ms. Gretchen Hutterli, COB, Campus.
