Foundation Scholarships

Nelson, Florence M. & Fred R. Keyboard

The Florence and Fred Nelson Scholarship is intended to benefit students who are earning a Music Degree with an emphasis in keyboard performance. Applicants must be admitted to UW-EC to be considered for the scholarship. The student must exhibit to the Selection Committee a high potential for success and contribution as a performer, inside or outside the academic arena. The student should have well-defined goals and realistic plans for reaching those goals. Competition is either through audition, jury performance, or UW-EC recital. Renewal of the scholarship is possible.

The Selection Committee will be the keyboard faculty.

The Selection Committee will inform the recipient by letter. A copy of the award letter should also be sent to the Financial Aid and Foundation Offices.
