Foundation Scholarships

Scholarships will be awarded to UW-Eau Claire students demonstrating academic promise and financial need as established by the Financial Aid Office. Preference will be given to incoming freshmen students. While the recipient should be a student of academic promise, he/she does not have to be near the top of his/her high school graduating class. The award is renewable for three subsequent, sequential years if successful, satisfactory progress is made at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire while maintaining a full-time academic load.

There is no formal application procedure. All students are considered for this award.

The Financial Aid Office will select the recipient. The Financial Aid Office will also determine if subsequent awards are merited.

Official notification will be sent to all recipients by the Financial Aid Office.

The recipient should send a thank you note to Dale Hovland in care of the Foundation Office.
