AMOUNT: $500.00 AVAILABLE: Annually ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Available to returning adult students attending UW-Eau Claire in either full or part-time capacities. Students must demonstrate financial need not met by traditional forms of financial assistance with preference to be given to female, returning adult students. Must have FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Application forms are available online at www.uwec.edu/NSS/scholarships/index.htm or from Nontraditional Student Services (NSS), Schofield 226, 715- 836-3259.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Third Monday in April SELECTION PROCEDURE: Applications will be evaluated by the NSS adviser in consultation with the Financial Aid Office.SELECTION DEADLINE: Mid-June NOTIFICATION: The NSS adviser will notify the recipient by letter and complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES: Recipients are asked to write a note of appreciation to Sara Imbody, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214. |
