Foundation Scholarships

This recipient must currently be a member of Wisconsin Future Business Leaders Association (FBLA). A recipient must currently be of senior standing at the secondary level. Preference may be given to a business education major, but it is not required.

Each local FBLA may submit one application to: Director of Annual Giving, UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, 105 Garfield Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54702-4004.

The completed application form must be postmarked no later than January 1, of the year that the scholarship will be presented.

A three-member Selection Committee will be composed of: the Phi Beta Lamda (PBL) state advisor (or their representative as selected by the PBL Executive Board), FBLA state advisor (or their representative as selected by the FBLA Executive Board) and the Director of Annual Giving at the UW-EC Foundation, Inc. The committee will review the applications and select a recipient.

Payment of the scholarship will be made after written verification of the recipient’s successful completion of first semester coursework. Verification should be sent to the Director of Annual Giving at the UW-Eau Claire. The Director of Annual Giving will send a written payment request to the Financial Aid Office at UW-Eau Claire. (For students not enrolled at UWEC, the Annual Giving Director will send the scholarship payment to the University the student is attending for the student’s account.)

A thank-you note should be sent to Alvera Peterson in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office. Ms. Peterson is the sister of the late Dr. Missling.
