Foundation Scholarships

To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidates must be majoring in elementary education and must possess a strong record of academic achievement.

Qualifying students will receive an email in December with scholarship application information. Also, visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Complete the form and submit it to the Education Scholarship Committee. Ask two members of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction faculty, who are familiar with your achievements at the University, to submit letters of recommendation to the Scholarship Committee.

Mid-February. Visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Exact deadline will be in Scholarship Applications Directions.

Selection will be made by the Education Scholarship Committee based on published criteria as well as the Committee’s assessment of the candidate’s evaluation of potential teaching effectiveness

By the College of Education and Human Sciences by letter. A copy should be sent to the Foundation and Financial Aid Offices.

A thank-you note should be sent to the Department of Education and Human Sciences, in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, S-214.
