Foundation Scholarships

History Department

The History Department Scholarship Award is awarded to an outstanding History major who has demonstrated success in History courses at UW-Eau Claire. Success will be evaluated on the basis of overall and History grade point averages, performance in history courses, and one letter of recommendation from the faculty.

Application forms are available in the History Department office.

A selection committee from the History Department reviews all applications.

Notification will be sent in writing to the recipient. The Department Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office in order for the scholarship to be paid.

The recipient should send a thank-you note to the History Department Chair.
