ACCOUNTING *SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT: $500.00
AVAILABLE: ANNUALLY
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Recipient must be a senior who is choosing, and has the potential for, a career in public accounting. The cumulative GPA, financial need or academic achievement may be used by the Department of Accounting and Finance to determine the recipient.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection should be based on the overall financial need and/or academic achievement of the student as determined by the Department of Accounting and Finance.

NOTIFICATION:
The Department of Accounting and Finance will notify the recipient by letter and submit a completed “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.
SPECIAL NOTES:
The Jelinek Metz McDonald, LTD. Minneapolis Office Scholarship Fund is awarded annually to an accounting student at the alma mater of each partner in the firm. Current schools participating are St. Mary’s University of Minnesota, Mankato State University and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Each school’s accounting department is responsible for the selection of the student. The firm’s intent is that the recipient will be oriented towards a career in public accounting.
