Foundation Scholarships

McPhee, Eugene & Frances Memorial

Senior with Major in Education. Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Participation in community, university, or school service.

Qualifying students will receive an email in December with scholarship application information. Also, visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Complete the form and submit it to the Education Scholarship Committee. Ask two members of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction faculty, who are familiar with your achievements at the University, to submit letters of recommendation to the Scholarship Committee.

Mid-February. Visit the webpage www.uwec.edu/coehs/forms/index.htm and go to Teacher Education Scholarships. Exact deadline will be in Scholarship Applications Directions.

Basing its decision upon the eligibility criteria above, the Scholarship Committee will select one nominee and two alternates for the award.

The Dean of Education and Human Sciences will notify the recipient by letter. The Dean will also complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office. Also the name of the winner will be posted on the departmental bulletin boards.
