AMOUNT: $500 AVAILABLE: Annually ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: One scholarship per year will be given to a full-time Special Education major. The student must demonstrate financial need and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above. Residents from western and northwestern Wisconsin are the preferred candidates for this award.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applicants should contact the College of Education and Human Sciences to apply for the scholarship.APPLICATION DEADLINE: As determined by the College of Education and Human Sciences.SELECTION PROCEDURE: The recipient will be chosen by the Dean’s Office.SELECTION DEADLINE: By the end of spring semester NOTIFICATION: The recipient will be sent a letter from the Dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences. The Dean will submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid Office.SPECIAL NOTES: The scholarship award is to be applied directly to the recipient’s tuition account at UW-Eau Claire, with one-half applied during each semester of the academic year. It is suggested that a thank-you note be sent to Dr. and Mrs. Thomas King in care of the UW-EC Foundation Office. |
