Foundation Scholarships

Kleiner, James H. & Elizabeth J. Music

This scholarship is open to any full-time, undergraduate student with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 who is a participant in some music group ensemble at UW-Eau Claire, i.e. choir, symphony orchestra, jazz band, Statesmen, concert band or any other campus music group. This award is open to any liberal arts major, although Music Majors are preferred. Financial need is a consideration for the award. This scholarship is renewable in subsequent years, if selected.

Application forms are available in the office of the Department of Music and Theatre Arts. The form, with appropriate supporting information, should be returned to the Department office by the date to be determined. In order to be considered in subsequent years, scholarship recipients must reapply for the award.

Spring, as determined by the Department of Music and Theatre Arts.

The Scholarship Committee of the Department of Music and Theatre Arts will select the award recipient.

The Chair of the Department of Music and Theatre Arts will send written notification to the selected recipient. A copy of the award letter should be sent to the Financial Aid and Foundation Offices.

No thank-you letter is required, as both James and Elizabeth Kleiner are deceased.
