AMOUNT: $100.00 AVAILABLE: ANNUALLY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: Geography students with good scholastic records who are outstanding individuals.APPLICATION PROCEDURE: See the Geography and Anthropology Department website at www.uwec.edu/geography/ for details.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Students must complete and return the application form to the Geography and Anthropology Department Office by November 30.SELECTION PROCEDURE: The Chair of the Department of Geography and Anthropology and/or the department scholarship committee will select the recipient.SELECTION DEADLINE: The scholarship will be awarded by December 15.NOTIFICATION: Official notification will be sent to all nominees by the Department of Geography and Anthropology. The Chair will complete and submit a “Scholarship Award Form” to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES: Name of the fund was recently changed from Geography Emeritus Professors' Scholarship and returned to the original name after Professor Kolka. A thank you note should be sent to Elsie-Lu Kolka, daughter of Professor Kolka in care of the UWEC Foundation Office. |
