The recipient must be a graduate student (full or part time) admitted to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences with emphasis in adult or family health nursing and a research or practice interest in AIDS or other terminal diseases.APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
Application Forms: Students who are admitted to the nursing program at UW-Eau Claire will receive an email in late February/early March when the scholarship application is ready and available. The email will include the path to the online application forms. PART ONE is filled online and submitted electronically. PART TWO (the essay and activities form) is filled out online and printed off, signed and submitted to the Dean’s Assistant Office, Nursing 103, by the deadline. Only one essay can be submitted. The essay must address the eligibility criteria for each of the scholarships that they wish to apply for.APPLICATION DEADLINE: Second Monday in March
Graduate faculty members of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences Scholarship Committee will review applications and make recommendations for initial and continuing recipients. In the event there is no student specifically eligible, the committee may select a graduate student with a related interest.SELECTION DEADLINE: Prior to the scholarship dinner
The Dean will notify the recipient by letter and submit a Scholarship Award Form to the Financial Aid office.SPECIAL NOTES:
A thank you note should be sent to Mrs. Teresa Kallio in care of the UW-Eau Claire Foundation Office, Schofield 214. Funds for the scholarship shall come from the earnings of the fund.
